Lisa is a Certified HR Leader and Professional, passionate about helping leaders with their people. Her authentic approach to leadership is to work in partnership for sustainable success. Prior to founding the company, she worked in the manufacturing, energy, and banking industries in Alberta, Nunavut, Ontario, and in her home community, Moose Deer Point First Nation, on beautiful Georgian Bay.

Rebecca is an experienced HR professional, having worked in a diverse range of HR and teaching roles for 25 years prior to joining LIHR. Rebecca is the provincial subject matter expert on performance management for the Ontario Colleges and is well known in the field of “Total Rewards” and we are happy that she has brought these skills with her to the LIHR team where she has built capacity among the team.

Dave Musil

Office Manager/ HR Co-Ordinator

Dave is LIHR’s office manager and our newest HR Co-Ordinator. Dave brings a unique background to the role. Dave has a Radio Broadcasting Diploma from Humber College and earned a certificate through the Management Program at the Rotman School of Business at the University of Toronto. Prior to joining the LIHR team, Dave spent 20 years in customer relations, marketing & project management and business development and these skills ensure the office is running smoothly and that our clients and community know what the LIHR team is up to

With 12 years of experience as an HR Consultant at LIHR, Ellen has a strong background in the field. She graduated from Trent University with a BA Honours and later obtained a Graduate Diploma in Human Resources Management from Fanshawe College. Prior to entering the HR profession, Ellen held various managerial positions where she successfully balanced financial business goals and internal organizational needs.

Jessica has been working in Human Resources & Operations management for over 20 years in various Indigenous & private companies. Throughout that time, she spent her time coaching, mentoring & empowering others to reach their full potential.  Jessica particularly enjoys working in fast-paced, high-energy environments while finding effective ways to communicate which includes everyone starting from the ground floor all the way up to senior management.

Jenny is an HR Advisor with LIHR. Jenny is an energetic and adaptable Human Resources and People and Talent professional dedicated to putting people first and cultivating inclusive, engaging, and high-performing workplaces. With a passion for the tech startup/scale-up space, she thrives on aligning HR strategies with business objectives to drive growth and foster a positive and progressive company culture.

Yarexi Alvarez

Yarexi combines two fields she is passionate about: marketing and business and is the Executive Assistant at LIHR. She studied Audiovisual Communication and Journalism at the University of Zulia in Venezuela, where she learned the basics of storytelling and worked in the media.  For more than 8 years, she has been working with different brands and individuals to promote their business through different digital channels and the implementation of effective strategies. She has experience in public relations, business management and content marketing in various industries such as technology, retail, HR, legal, and education.
