Project HR Advisor                           

Part-time, $22.00/hr

The Project HR Advisor is a temporary, part-time role for one contract. The current contract runs through September 2019. The role is primarily virtual, using personal computer and internet. Meetings with the team will be face-to-face at least once monthly, however we use video conferencing when connecting in-between. Weekly hours of work will be determined based on client demand and will vary between 4 hours and 24 hours. While we try to predict the workload, many variables will impact client demand.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Meeting key deliverables in line with the client contract within expected time frames

    • Deliverables include job descriptions, policy and procedure analysis, and research

  • Reviewing, proofing, and questioning work of others, including the owner;

  • Team brainstorming and collaboration for problem-solving;

  • Responding to client questions;

  • Participation in volunteer activities in the community;

 

Successful candidates will have:

  • A collaborative or win:win attitude towards work, clients, and competitors;

  • An interest in obtaining the CHRP or CHRL designation;

  • A combination of education and experience in HR;

  • A desire to ask questions to understand;

  • A willingness to continuously improve on current skills and knowledge;

  • The ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders;

  • The ability to work with minimal supervision;
